Alvaro Morata feels Chelsea ‘lack respect’ and wants Sevilla move this month. Miserable Morata’s decision not to celebrate his goals on Saturday is down to the way he’s been treated in London.
The Spaniard believes he has been disrespected at Chelsea and could be set for an escape to Sevilla this month, according to reports in Spain. Blues £60million striker scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest to send Maurizio Sarri’s side through to the FA Cup fourth round. But the Spaniard cut a miserable figure at Stamford Bridge and failed to celebrate either goal.
According to Marca, Morata’s decision not to even deliver a smile was down to his belief that he has not received the respect he deserves. That may be due to ongoing talk of Chelsea being on the hunt for a new striker after losing faith in the 26-year-old.
Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson and AC Milan’s Gonzalo Higuain are among the targets in West London.
